We have a firm commitment to sourcing Australian produce, and an established partnership with Aussie Helpers to provide financial support for farming families doing it tough.
With every purchase of your favourite 8kg Australian Natural Health bag, $1.00 is donated to Aussie Helpers to support their highly awarded work with Australian farmers.
This is a cause close to the heart of Ivory Coat Companion Goods Managing Director, Steven Deveraux-Stanford;
“My family is on the land and I’ve seen firsthand the impact of drought and foreign imports on Australian farmer. The work Aussie Helpers and their dedicated team undertake is exceptional and makes a difference to many lives. ”
Aussie Helpers has been operating in the bush since 2002, and in June 2014 was awarded the Order of the Outback Award for significantly improving the lives of families living in the Australian Outback.
Aussie Helpers Founder, and Australian of the Year nominee, Brian Egan said; “We’re thrilled to have the support of Ivory Coat Companion Goods. We know the value people in the bush place on their working dogs. It’s often said one working dog does the work of three men.”
Aussie Helpers work around the principals of three words: “Care… Share… Respect.” They are staffed solely by volunteers and are not aligned with any other charities, have no religious affiliations or government funding.
It’s for these reasons that Ivory Coat Companion Goods aims to donate $10,000 per month to assist farmers, their livestock and, of course, their working dogs and companions.
