Dr Angus Hayes, is a partner of the well-known Bowral Veterinary Hospital, and has come on board as an ambassador and as part of our consultant development team, to ensure consistent quality and effectiveness of all Ivory Coat Companion Goods products.
Following his graduating from the University of Sydney back in 2001, Angus worked in the Hunter Valley before moving to the United Kingdom for 5 years. On returning to Australia, he worked in one of Sydney's premier veterinary practices, Ku-Ring-Gai Veterinary Hospital for many years before making the move to become partner at Bowral Veterinary Hospital.
Dr Angus Hayes also has a Masters of Veterinary Studies through Murdoch University, concentrating on Small Animal Internal Medicine and Emergency/Critical Care. He has also completed studies in Western based acupuncture, and uses the technique for a range of pain problems, especially in his older patients.
We spoke with Dr Hayes about why nutrition for your dog is key to their natural health;
"So many dogs these days have chronic digestive problems that people accept as normal. With some simple changes, often many of these previously unrecognised problems will become apparent when you see the improvement."
"It's great to see a quality product at a reasonable price that avoids so many of the ingredients that can cause problems."
A true family man, Dr Angus is married with two young children and also has his hands full with a pair of naughty German Shorthaired Pointers named Otto and Fritz.
Dr Angus Hayes brings years of invaluable experience in the care and welfare of animals through his small animal practices to Ivory Coat. We welcome his wealth of knowledge to the consultancy team.
Dr Angus is the new face of our 2015 education campaign:
